Shawn is a lifetime learner and entrepreneur. As the founder and CEO of the Leadership and Freedom Center, The Institute for Cyber Threat Defense and the Lodges at Gettysburg, Shawn teaches, trains, and speaks on leadership, emotional intelligence, cybersecurity, forging trusted and resilient teams, and building high performance teams
Shawn’s registered “H2G” trademark, as outlined in his book, From Fears to Freedom- The H2G Revolution, is a Leadership formula he developed to inspire people to build and reach their” full measure”- their highest human potential through the power of engaged and trusted teams. His book and H2G formula have been endorsed by renown leadership experts and authors, Marshall Goldsmith (UCLA), Ken Blanchard (Cornell), and the late, Warren Bennis (USC), widely recognized as a pioneer of the contemporary field of leadership studies

A trusted influence which inspires and maximizes the efforts of others to commit forward and achieve a greater good through the power of engaged and trusted teams.” In addition to offering leadership development to our Fortune 500 companies over the past 30 years, Shawn was a speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States, during the 1980 presidential campaign.
Shawn has worked with the U.S. Special Operations Forces community since 2005 offering training in the areas of leadership development, emotional intelligence, resiliency and Preservation of the Force and Family wellness. He is the co-founder, along with CMSgt Anthony “NG” Negron, of the DoD fully vetted POTFF “Resilient Warrior” Wellness program serving our active-duty SOF and their families.
Shawn studied at the University of Southern California where he earned his BS in business marketing with an emphasis in behavioral science and his MBA/MPA in business administration, public policy and political economy.
