Course Description:
Operators currently participate in critical activities that necessitate immediate trust, credibility, responsibility, and mutual respect. Often the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures that help create the effective character (leader) may not be learned till late in one’s maturation.
S.E.I. started the Professional Development (PRODEV) course to improve tactical and strategic decision making in both combat and garrison. To provide proven communication TTPs that enable junior leaders and operators the flexibility to own solutions. A better understanding of ethical fitness through readings, lecture and practicals will improve the operator’s ethical decision making process. Professional readings and discussions will also assist operators contend with the dilemmas they face today. Scenarios will be used throughout the course to facilitate team building and offering opportunities to employ what they’ve learned. This hard-hitting course will help operators see themselves more clearly and facilitate the professional growth required to prepare them for more senior leadership positions.
Qualifications
PRODEV Mentors have extensive experience in training in the principles of commanding, coaching, and mentorship via public speaking, instruction and self-produced literature and media content. Instructors are recognized experts in the field of development and team-building and have at least 20 years of instructional experience. They have a wide-ranging personal background in leadership, coaching, and commanding of organizations up to/including Tier 1 Level units and/or top Ivy league Universities.
