David J. Hirsch, MD, MPH, FACEP, FAEMS

Dr. David Hirsch is a double board-certified physician specializing in emergency medicine and emergency medical services as well as a certified law enforcement officer. Using these combined certifications, Dr. Hirsch has accumulated extensive operational experience and subspecialty knowledge in tactical emergency medical support.  Operationally, Dr. Hirsch works as a sworn and armed police physician supporting both regional and state police SWAT teams with 24/7/365 on-call tactical emergency medical support response. Additionally, Dr. Hirsch works as a federal medical officer supporting federal law-enforcement agencies for national special security events. From a training and education standpoint, Dr. Hirsch is actively involved in training special operations forces medics, including US Air Force Pararescuemen and Navy Seals. Dr. Hirsch continues to be clinically active, practicing emergency medicine and EMS medical direction in a critical access emergency department.
